I am trying to find a primary source on the reformation, specifically the Church's counter-reformation. I could not find anything under ProQuest or EBSCO. What should I do?

Answer

We have a LibGuide here on finding primary sources. While EBSCO and ProQuest are great for secondary historical information, they don't tend to have primary sources for history.  One source that may be particularly useful for you is this site. It has a section on documents relating to the reformation, including Catholic responses. The documents (which are all translated) are compiled by Fordham University and is a reliable source.
