I am doing a paper for my English class. How should I do an in-text citation on an article when the author is anonymous?

Answer

If you're citing in MLA, when there is no known author, you can just omit any author information and jump straight to the title.  Then in the in-text citation, instead of author's name and page number, use the first phrase of the title and the page number.  For more about MLA citation, see our LibGuide.
