I would like an article I saw cited in Google Scholar? How do I get it?
Answer
Touro might have it! Set up your Google Scholar to connect to Touro databases.
- Click on the 3 horizontal lines to the left of the Google Scholar icon.
- When the menu appears, click on Settings.
- On the page that next appears, click on Library Links.
- In the text box that appears, type Touro and search.
- Find your Touro, check the box, then click on save.
- When a result displays "Full Text @ Touro" on the right side of the citation, click on the quote to access the selected item in Touro's databases.
- If the item is not available in our databases, you may request the article by interlibrary loan, and if possible we will get it from another institution.
- Log into the portal to access the request form. It is located in a drop down menu under the word SERVICES on the library homepage. Click on the phrase "Request Material from Another Library (ILL)" to access the form. Fill it out completely and then submit. Your Interlibrary Loan may take as long as two weeks to acquire.
