Do we have access to McGraw Hill Medical Products through the Touro Library?
I am a PA student at the Manhattan campus, and I am trying to access Basic and Clinical Pharmacology by Bertram G. Katzung online. How would I do this?
Answer
- Electronic books are no longer in our catalog. They can be found by title in QuickSearch, the blank textbox on the library homepage.
- Type in Basic and Clinical Pharmacology then click on the blue Log in button.
- There are three options for log in. 1-"with your TouroOne credentials" 2-with your "NYMC Library Account (for users without TouroOne credentials)" 3-with "OpenAthens (for users without TouroOne credentials". Click on the appropriate affilation and follow the instructions.
- The book title should be returned at the top of the results, If not, limit the results to eBooks by checking the box reading "eBook Full Text online" on the left side of the page. Results will display showing the different editions of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology available. Click on the hyperlinked title or the oval reading FULL TEXT ONLINE. You will be taken to the database containg the ebook, McGraw-Hill Access Medicine.
- Touro NewYork subscribe to two McGraw-Hill products, Access Medicine and Access Physiotherapy, located on the A-Z list of databases, under the letter A. Among the resources they contain are a library of full-text books. Had you known which McGraw-Hill product contained this title, you could have gone directly to the database.
