I am looking for book recommendations.
I am not a student at Touro. I am a Christian and am looking for book recommendations regarding two questions: - What is the history of the Christian church treating Jews badly? How did the "Christian nation" of Germany change into a mass murdering Nazi regime?
Answer
Here is a reading list from the Jewish Book Council.
It seems to me that your two questions are really one, from the point of view of a Jewish history class. Both address the hatred of Jews when they are perceived to be the "other".
Here are some titles that are in our collection. If you have access to a public library, these books can be borrowed on your behalf from a library that owns them.
