I'm trying to access Otzar HaChochma. I have been able to access it in the past. Do alumni have a Touro One Login? I never received one, and my previous login and password don't work.

Answer

Touro Libraries retired all patron created library logins and passwords as of December 2019.  You will need to request a TouroOne  account from the Office of Information Management (a.k.a. "the Help Desk") which is now solely responsible for all issues relating to remote access of library resources,  All "technical support" requests take you here.  The telephone number, 1-844-868-7666, but your best bet is to email them at help@touro.edu

After you receive a Portal account, you will also need to download an app on your phone called Okta.  Okta provides enhanced security for remote access of Touro Libraries' databases by requiring a two step authentication process.  Additional information about Okta can be found here.

Additionally, the database in which you are interested allows for only a predetermined number of simultaneous users. If your use exceeds that number, you will not be allowed access until one of the others has logged off.
