I am trying to find primary sources from Luisa de Carvajal for my history class. How do I do that?

Answer

I searched her as an author in QuickSearch, and found one item.

This tight embrace / Luisa de Carvajal y Mendoza ; edited, translated, and with an introduction by Elizabeth Rhodes.

Milwaukee Wisc. : Marquette University Press, 2000.

This is a book of translated poetry and correspondence and, by definition, would serve as a primary source.  As it says all over the Internet, primary sources are immediate, first-hand accounts of a topic from people who had a direct connection with it. Primary sources can include: texts of laws, other original documents, and newspaper reports by reporters who witnessed an event or who quote people who did. .For more information about primary sources, see our LibGuide.
