I need to read a book for the history course I am taking. It has to be published by a University Press.

I have to write a book review on a nonfiction book that takes place between the time period of the French Revolution in Europe (1789) and The Cold War. I'm having a hard time finding an e-book.  Can you assist me in finding one?

Answer

To find print material, do an Advanced Search in the catalog, setting the location to eBooks, and including University in the publisher field.  Add a keyword of your choice to any of the blank fields, and that word will be associated with the book.  For example, you can enter "World War II" or "France".

The catalog record will give you additional information about the book, such as the details of the Table of Contents, and the number of pages the book has.

To find eBooks, after logging into your TouroOne account replicate the same search in QuickSearch, the blank text box across the library homepage. You may want to search directly in databases containing our eBooks. There are several but eBook Central (ProQuest) and EBSCO eBooks are the most robust.  You can find them alphabetically on the A-Z Database list, or set the dropdown subject heading to "eBooks".
