I am a non-matriculated student. How can I get access to library resources to complete my classwork?
I need research articles on traumatic brain injury and special education.
Answer
When you log into the TouroOne portal, you will see the Library icon on the left side of the page. Clicking on it should bring you to the library page already logged in. Otherwise, a blue login button at the center of the library homepage screen will redirect you to the portal page momentarily, where you will log in, and then you will be returned to the library page. You can select specific databases from our A-Z database list or search across all of them by using QuickSearch, the blank textbox at the center of the library homepage. QuickSearch allows you to refine your search by selecting full text, scholarly/peer reviewed articles, and the disciplines of interest from the left side of the page. Since articles on traumatic brain injury and special education might be published in both education and health science journals, you should select as disciplines education and include several of the following: medicine, nursing, occupational therapy and rehabilitation, physical therapy and psychology.
